What made you interested in our work

After teaching middle school science and high school Earth Science for eight years, I began learning more about DEI, leading me to pursue a PhD around equity in science education. After meeting Clausell at a conference, I knew I wanted to collaborate with him somehow. I was excited to learn about his research agenda. I want to contribute to understanding and widening how we can engage in more culture-based practices, particularly in disciplines such as physics. The warmth and joy I feel from collaborating with Clausell and his team keeps me involved in this project.
