Interests/Hobbies: equity in medicine, sciences, particularly physics, physiology, and biology-related topics, music (writing, listening, etc), painting, and playing my guitar

What made you interested in our work: I was interested in pursuing research experience. I previously had Dr. Mathis as a physics professor at Michigan State University and was introduced to the idea of cultural-specific physics education throughout the course. I believe in equal access, opportunity, and ability to obtain an education and felt this project would help facilitate that belief in the right direction for future students.

Main research project: Decolonizing and Globalizing of Physics Education

Education background: Michigan State University Lyman Briggs, Human Biology major, Bioethics minor
